New Dallas hub gives drivers the freedom to “flex,” getting the car they want on their terms
DALLAS, Texas, September 9, 2026 — Flexcar today announced its expansion into Texas with the opening of its Dallas hub at 39550 LBJ Freeway. The launch brings Flexcar’s approach to having a car, what the company calls “flexing,” to Dallas-area drivers.
"Expanding into Texas is a major milestone for Flexcar as we continue to grow our national footprint," said Ryan Quinlan, President and COO of Flexcar. "Texas drivers have a strong connection to their vehicles, and we're excited to offer a more flexible alternative to traditional car ownership. With Flexcar, Dallas residents will have the freedom to drive what they want, when they want, without the long-term commitment."
The new Dallas hub spans 17,560 square feet and can accommodate up to 250 vehicles. Flexcar has also created new local jobs across operations, service, and customer support, with plans to continue growing its presence in Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth drivers will have access to Flexcar's diverse fleet of more than 200 makes and models, including brand-new 2027 vehicles and popular options like the Nissan Rogue, Hyundai Santa Fe, Toyota Grand Highlander, GMC Yukon, Volvo V60, and Chevrolet Tahoe.
The Texas launch comes as drivers across the U.S. increasingly choose flexible alternatives to traditional car ownership. Recently, Flexcar drivers surpassed 350 million miles driven nationwide, underscoring growing demand for cars that adapt to how people actually live and drive.
At a time when gas prices are rising nationwide, Flexcar is also helping drivers reduce everyday costs at the pump. Flexcar members have saved more than $170,000 on fuel through the company’s Gas Saver program, which provides per-gallon discounts at participating gas stations.
