Jeep Compass

Fair question. There’s no dealership markup or down payment, and because we insure and maintain thousands of cars, we pay less per car than one driver would. Our savings calculator counts what you’d get back selling the car you bought, and flexing still comes out ahead for most cars over five years. Buying usually needs longer than that to break even, and by then most factory warranties have run out, so surprise repairs on an aging car with aging tech are on you. If life changes in the first few years, that’s the worst time to sell: you’ve paid sales tax and dealer fees up front, much of each payment has gone to interest, and early on you’ll likely owe more than the car is worth. With Flexcar, you just swap or return.

Can a lease do this?

• No down payment
• No dealership fees that take the air out of your tires
• Keep the car as long as you want or swap it out like a wardrobe change
• Return anytime. No penalty.
• Insurance? Check. Roadside assistance? Check. Peace of mind? Check

No haggling or surprise fees.

Honesty is our policy. Dealerships make money by charging you for fees with a side of car. By the time they're done with documentation fees, VIN etching, financing fees and destination fees, you are left wondering if you're going to get a bill for using the toilet.

With Flexcar, you skip the dealership, and you’ll see every amount before you pay.

Everything you need. Nothing you don't

We slip money in your pocket like your favorite grandparent. Maintenance, insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance is all included. We even help you save on gas at participating stations. Flexcar is your one-stop shop for all your car's needs.

No. At checkout you pay your first month and tax, plus a refundable deposit if your approval includes one. If the car you choose is in another market, a one-time fee to ship it to your local market is added too. You’ll see every amount before you pay. The $249 annual membership is billed separately, 14 days after pickup.

On a month-to-month plan, you can schedule a return without an early-termination penalty. You’re still responsible for applicable usage, damage, and other charges under your agreement. Plan-specific and state-specific terms can differ, so review your agreement before ordering or returning.

Yes, imagine having a four-car garage at your fingertips. With Flexcar, you can drive what you want, when you want. Cruise through summer with the top down in a Jeep Wrangler or conquer winter terrain in a rugged Toyota Tacoma. For a small swap fee, you can switch to the perfect car for every season and every adventure. Stay flexible and drive your way.

Yes. Oil changes, tire rotations, covered repairs, and 24/7 roadside come with your $249 annual membership. You schedule maintenance in the Flexcar app.

To drive a Flexcar, you need the following:

• 21+ years old
• Valid US or US Territory driver's license
• Verified email address
• Consent for a soft credit check.
• This won't affect your credit score

No, they do not. At Flexcar, basic liability insurance is always included, and selecting one of our protection plans is required. Supplementary coverage from existing personal auto insurance and credit card auto insurance generally covers only short-term use, not a car you drive every day like your Flexcar. Don't worry, we've got your back.
